Maria Paula Mejia Ciro

Academic and professional interest on social development. Worked in the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs on information management and some Colombian NGO’s on social development, environment and culture. In 2012 I managed the visual identity, supported the design and communication strategies of the Colombian National System of academic and sportive competitions. In August 2013 I was awarded with a full scholarship for a masters degree on sport management under the DTM Program, from the Korean Government and Seoul National University. My thesis: “Public and Private Cooperation in Sport for Development and Peace” (awarded as the best thesis work).
Current position: Coordinator of the Sport for Peace program from the Colombian Department of Sport called: Convivencia y Paz (Coexistance and Peace)
