Partner and Co-Founder of SPIN Sport Innovation.
Before; Researcher at the German Sport University Cologne, Consultant at the European Paralympic Committee, Research Manager at the European Observatory of Sport & Employment, Managing Director of the European Network of Sport Education.
I believe that Together we can Develop New Directions for Sport.
To support this, I have co-founded the sport development consultancy SPIN Sport Innovation. With SPIN, we conduct and support sport development projects from start to finish line: From needs assessment and fund raising to implementation. We support sport organisations, public agents and businesses interacting with the sport sector to develop new fields of action. We develop and implement customised programmes and activities within the wider scope of education and training. And we review projects and provide external evaluation services.
I graduated in sports sciences with a specialisation in sport economy and management, and hold Additional University Qualifications in European Sports Studies and Olympic Studies. After my studies in Cologne, Manchester and Barcelona I joined the teaching and research staff at the German Sport University at the Institute of European Sport Development.
In 2004, I began to work in political consulting and organizational development in sport at the European level. Since then I have worked as expert for a variety of European sport stakeholders, including the EU Committee of Regions, the European Commission, the Council of Europe or the European Paralympic Committee. As a volunteer, I chair the Sport & Disability Network of the European Think Tank Sport et Citoyenneté.
I participated in more than thirty multinational sport development projects for a variety of sport organizations, where I have mostly been specifically responsible for quality management and strategic development.
