I came to the Dallaglio Foundation straight from Rugby World Cup 2011 in New Zealand and after a year of travelling in South East Asia and the USA. In previous roles I was a Primary School Teacher, an Events Manager and a Networks Officer. Born in Malta with a Scottish twist, I am an avid rugby supporter of Scotland and the Leicester Tigers, no one's sure how I got past Lawrence. After years of volunteering finally I am embarking on a career in the charity sector and in my ideal role - what a way to combine passions.
To provide youth development across three very different areas, with the aims being to:
Reach and engage young people through the power of rugby and sport
Empower and equip young people, giving them the means and inspiration to change their lives for the better
Provide young people with skills and experience of the workplace, through internships, which will help them gain employability
Enhance and complement established rugby in the community initiatives and the RFU's goals for community rugby
