After graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Middle Eastern Studies in 2013, I spent 6 months living in Tunisia to pursue studies in Arabic, voluntary work and teaching English. I have since been working on the Operating Team of sportanddev.org in Biel, Switzerland.
I volunteered as a coach for Premier Skills in Tunisia-- a collaboration between the British Council and the Premier League, under the auspices of the Tunisian Football Federation. I worked alongside local football coaches to coach socially marginalised groups across the country. This included providing football and games practice to rurally located children and youth with mental and physical handicaps and assisting in the training of young Tunisian women to become national referees
