Tariq Mohammed is a certified squash coach who has played and coached squash at several elite prep schools, colleges and universities in the United States. During 2003-2004, he served as a United Nations Volunteer in Uganda to foster peace and human development. He has a Masters in Education with a specialization in coaching.
My first experience of Sport for Development and Peace was as a volunteer soccer coach to AIDS orphans in Uganda. Eager to continue in S4D, a stint at Reebok's Human Rights Programs led to work in sport-based youth development. Past projects include directing Kidsquash, a community squash program at Harvard University and advising Khelshala, a program in India that combines squash, academic support, music and yoga for underprivileged children.
