Changing the Game for Good: Using Sport to Support Displaced Women and Girls
Date: 15:00-16:30 (CET), 10 November 2021
The webinar will take place during a Week of Action (8-12 November 2021) themed around supporting displaced women and girls in and through sport. This week will build on a call for articles – whereby we have invited actors working on this topic to share their approaches, learnings, methods and resources (submit your article until 21 November!).
The webinar will discuss the insights and learnings from the contributions received and seeks to further build capacity among practitioners and policymakers on how to increase the participation of displaced women and girls in sport and further their integration, empowerment and social inclusion.
The webinar will feature select panellists representing policymakers, practitioners, academics and refugee athletes themselves.
