Tokyo, Japan

The FIEP Director Board and Congress Scientific and Organising Committees we are delighted to invite you to participate in the 1st Asia FIEP Conference “Physical Education and its Impact To quality of Life of Children and Youth – an Asian Perspective“ which will be held on 13 December 2014 in Tokyo, Japan.

We are very happy and honored to have the first conference on Physical Education and Sports in the Asian region in cooperation with FIEP (International Federation of Physical Education), the oldest international organisations dealing with physical education (PE) of all age categories,

The conference is focused on a very current topic. We have to think how PE can serve and maintain quality of life of children and youth, especially in Asian countries where PE is not often promoted or sometimes neglected. Also, we would like to see the specific role of PE in Asian context in contrast to that in the west, such as what martial arts can offer. We believe that this conference will be a bridge between teachers and educators from many Asian and Western countries. We also hope this conference will help us find better position and role of PE in the society.

In order to achieve the highest quality of learning in the conference, we have limited the number of participants to 100 only. We therefore encourage individuals and organizations to register early.

Deadline for registration: 15 November 2014
Fees: Regular Registration - $70 (dinner is included)
The registration fee is inclusive of:

  • Conference Program
  • Attendance to all the plenary and poster sessions
  • Afternoon snacks and dinner
  • Conference Certificate
  • Abstracts of presentations
