Homeless World Cup: Poznan 2013

The 11th edition of the global football tournament which brings people together to improve the lives of homeless people around the world.

From 10 - 18 August 2013, 64 nations will take part in the 11th edition of the Homeless World Cup annual tournament, in Poznan, Poland.

The city of Poznan is well known for its international sporting events such as international show jumping, the IFC Canoe Sprint World Cup and the International ATP Poznan Open. Poznan was also a UEFA Euro 2012 host city.

The competition will take place at Lake Malta, a popular destination for locals and tourists throughout the summer months. Lake Malta offers an excellent combination of scenic surroundings and professional sports facilities.

48 countries will participate in the men’s competition and 16 in the women’s competition with many new women's teams and a new mixed team: Northern Ireland.
