London Football Journeys (LFJ) is a charity that brings together young people from deprived areas to support them to become active and confident members of their communities, feel confident to travel, meet new people, and access youth leadership opportunities.
Our ambition is to support the creation of self-confident, motivated and engaged young people from different parts of London to break down negative perceptions of other areas, actively and progressively represent their community and grow as positive leaders.
This is an exciting time to be joining LFJ. We became a charity in 2013 and we are looking for a driven and passionate youth programme coordinator to lead on and deliver our youth programmes. This role is a great opportunity for someone who has the appetite to take ownership of our youth services and can help grow a team in a developing environment.
Purpose of role
As part of LFJ, your role will be to develop, deliver and coordinate our youth programmes, to support the strategic planning and direct delivery of the programmes, and to support the wider work of LFJ. There is potential for rapid promotion to a leadership position in the event of outstanding performance.
