Project Head

After securing a partnership with the UEFA Foundation until 2019 for our F4L Academy programme, we are seeking to bring in a passionate, creative and highly committed Project Head that can grow and further develop the programme with the aims of the organisation. 

The Project Head will assume overall responsibility for FundLife's leading programme, 'Football for Life' and will be stationed in Tacloban, Philippines with regular travel commitments to Cebu and Manila. 

Reporting to the Programme Director, the project head will oversee all operations in Tacloban, including managing staff, youth mentors and partner stakeholders. Alongside managing the operations of the programme, the role will include:

  • Maintaining and growing partnership with existing development and strategic partners
  • Accountability for project results and KPI's
  • Mapping out growth and replication of F4L through sustainable delivery models
  • Effective management of key relationships with local stakeholders 
  • Creating exciting content and overseeing communication strategy 
  • Assisting Programme Director in driving long-term strategy to elevate FundLife as key voice in innovative development strategy and inclusive social business model
  • Supporting senior management in seeking new partnerships with Corporates, INGO's and Global Donors to grow the organisation and its own programmes

The ideal candidate should possess as many of the following characteristics as possible:

  • Highly educated and passionate about state of global development and extreme inequality (poverty)
  • A 'can-do' mentality and a willing to get hands dirty - We are not a 'think-tank, but a 'do-tank'
  • Strong network and experience of the development or social business sector
  • Problem solver and doer – willing to get hands dirty
  • Charismatic, energetic, cheerful personality (Filipinos are generally known as happiest people in the world, so we want someone to embrace and feed off that energy)
  • Highly effective communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Experience in project management and leading from the front
  • Visionary and steadfast in delivering actions to drive positive change
  • Entrepreneurial, problem solving ability
  • Adaptable to local culture and be committed to living in the Philippines for at least 12 months
  • Hungry and humble - Persistent and professional in achieving goals, while comfortable enough to work in shorts and thongs (sandals, people)

Marketing Intern - Unpaid

We are offering a three - six month internship opportunity to a highly motivated and brand savvy recent graduate (or those with a great story) to join our young and vibrant Philippines office. The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of innovative digital marketing strategies and be confident in expressing their opinions and ideas. 

He/She will support marketing colleagues in designing, communicating and channelling all of FundLife's work and will play an integral part of the organisations growth from the very first day! 

About you

A new/recent graduate (formal or informal) with bags of ideas, energy and enthusiasm to contribute towards a young and committed team. You will be ambitious without being hubris and have a strong passion to be part of a purposeful, mission led company that contributes to a more equitable world.   

You will have natural optimism and see the potential that exists in the children we work with. Candidates should also be culturally aware to hit the ground running and be able to adapt to living and working abroad.
