YES Migori is looking for a leadership intern

YES Migori is a sport for development organisation based in Migori County, Kenya. At YES we use the power of sports to address challenges affecting youth such as health, leadership and talent development. To effectively disseminate the mission of our programme, the organisation is accepting applications for the following internship:

Youth Educator

The intern will be responsible for offering training to teenage girls aimed at providing an adequate understanding of positive living and to equip them with the prerequisites to run the #GirlsforGirls programme.

The intern will work hand in hand with peer educators in designing programmes targeting different groups.

Those interested should have good understanding of physical education and sports. The interns should be able to speak English and/or Kiswahili.

Accommodation and meals

The organisation will handle full cost of accommodation as well as meals. The intern will only be required to carry personal effects that are a must. However, the intern may have personal resources for supplementing what we offer.

Start date and duration

The programme is intended to run from 5 January 2018 to 12 March 2018.

The internship will be run from our offices and in the field where the programmes are run. While traveling to the field, the organisation will take full cost of traveling to and from the locations. We have eight locations where we currently run our programmes in Migori County.
