Change the Game Sport Conference

In addition to the conference, a partners forum will take place the day before, on 23 July. It will focus on the social returns on investment in sports policies and programmes.
24 July - Building More Equal and Sustainable Sporting Legacies
Discussions will be underpinned by Fit for Life knowledge products and resources, including:

"Global State of Play - Report and Recommendations on Quality Physical Education", which will support decision-makers in developing and implementing more inclusive quality physical education policies and practices.

The Sport and Gender Equality Game Plan, which will support policy makers and sport practioners to design, deliver and measure the impact of inclusive sport policies and programmes.
Building on the UNESCO - UN Women Handbook on Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls in Sport, a panel on the promotion of a safe and equal sport will also be organized.
23 July - Investing in Social Impact, in and through Sport
Speakers will broadly explore the social returns of investment in sport policies and programmes, focusing on opportunities for investment in people (youth, athletes, coaches) and in systems (infrastructure, support network). It will explore innovative financial mechanisms such as social outcome contracts. UNESCO will launch its Social Impact of Sport Report.
