The International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP), which takes place annually on 6 April, presents an opportunity to recognize the positive role sport and physical activity play in communities and in people’s lives across the globe. The theme for 2024 is "Sport for the Promotion of Peaceful and Inclusive Societies".

Join us for a special event bringing together elite athletes and prominent sporting organizations to share best practices, discuss challenges, and explore collaborative opportunities that leverage sport as a tool for sustainable development and peace. You will also hear from leading female figures in sport discussing innovative ways to make an impact on climate change, gender equality, education and social justice.

Thursday, 4 April 2024 11 AM - 1 PM ET

UN Pass holders can join in-person. Non UN Pass holders can join online.
