Intergovernmental Committee for Physical Education and Sport (CIGEPS): Extraordinary Session

Member States of CIGEPS and members of its Permanent Consultative Council (PCC) will discuss the preliminary draft of the revised Charter that has been circulated to all UNESCO Member States and PCC members.

The provisional agenda will be as follows:

• Presentation and discussion on the preliminary draft of the revised International Charter of Physical Education and Sport

• Update of activities by UNESCO and Member States
• Presentation of the preliminary draft of the revised International Charter of Physical Education and Sport
• PCC Report on the preliminary draft of the revised Charter
• Discussion on the preliminary draft of the revised International Charter of Physical Education and Sport and adoption of a recommendation to the 196th session of the UNESCO Executive Board concerning the revision
• Opportunity of holding the 6th International Conference of Ministers and Senior Officials Responsible for Physical Education and Sport (MINEPS VI) within the timeframe of the 38th session of UNESCO’s General Conference
