International Table Tennis Tournament for Disabled People: BiTT 2014-Tribute to Friendship

Active Disabled People Albania- ADP Albania - is a sport association for disabled people in Albania. In collaboration with Genuine Effect and the excellent cooperation of institutional partners (Burreli Municipality, Albanian Table Tennis Association and the National Olympic Committee of Albania, Multidisciplinary Daily Care Center (“Mati”), we will organise a tournament for men with disabilities on 25-26 May, 2014, in Burrel, Albania.
Promoting the social inclusion of disabled people through sport is the purpose of this event. Sport can be a vehicle to promote social inclusion and can contribute towards better understanding among people.
This extraordinarily competitive tournament, comes after the participation of ADP Albania in BiTT 2013 as a contestant. This year, ADP Albania has the honour of organising, for the first time in Albania, a tournament dedicated to disabled men.
Participation criteria:
- Athletes must be certified as elite paralympic players - contestants at regional, continental or world level
- Participation is limited: only 20 contestants will compete, so apply as soon as possible
