Peace and Sport International Forum 2024

In this Olympic year of 2024, marked by a resurgence of international conflicts, the International Peace and Sport Forum will reaffirm from the Principality of Monaco how sport offers a unique and universal platform where the principles of peace and collaboration triumph. Since its establishment in 2007, Peace and Sport has advocated for the unique power of sport to foster social bonds and empower youth. The forum will encourage international decision-makers to leverage sport intentionally as a means to promote peace. Key elements include capacity building, program support, and athlete engagement, emphasizing sport’s vital role in enhancing social cohesion and collaboration worldwide. It will also feature an awards ceremony to recognize individuals and organizations that have significantly contributed to peace through sport.
