Sports for Good?

Discussing the need to decolonise sports and sports development, we will talk about the issues that face the industry in making sports participation more inclusive. Further, we will discuss how the sector can do more to safeguard and protect Black and racialised children.

Nana Badu: Founder of BADU Sports & BADU Community, which use sports as a vehicle to educate, empower and uplift young people and their families within east London
Mohamed Mohamed: A Somali-British football coach at Arsenal FC and Co-Head of PE at Oasis Academy South Bank
Greer-Aylece Robinson: Founder of TMVMT Movement, which aims to be a catalyst for change in how the sporting and education sector engages the wider community around them, ensuring that young lives are empowered thorugh research and participation
Anika Leslie-Walk: Senior Lecturer Sport Sociology at Nottingham Trent University with 10+ years in education
