Train the Trainer certification program on United Nations Toolkit for Sport, Development and Peace
DATES: Thursday 30 May 2024 and Friday 31 May 2024
TIME: 14:00hrs – 17:30hrs South African Standard Time (SAST) / 8:00am New York (USA) for both 30 and 31 May 2024
APPLICATION SUBMISSION: The online application form submission deadline is FRIDAY 24 MAY 2024. Due to the high volume of application forms, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Selected candidates will receive an email notification from the program facilitator.
The online Train the Trainer (TOT) course will certify applicants that will be training sports ecosystem stakeholders with an interest in SDP or with a responsibility to address sport policies or programs due to the nature of their work. This includes Policymakers, Civil society, NGOs, Government Ministries, Sports Governing Bodies, Sports Federations, Women Sports Associations, Schools Sports, Universities, Youth, Municipalities, Independent individuals and decision-makers as well as practitioners from other sectors.
The benefits of attending the online TOT workshop include being part of pool of competent, attested and certified instructors that will be teaching the UN modules learning material to sports ecosystem stakeholders in the following countries: Bangladesh, Botswana, India, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Namibia, Zambia and more.
