Webinar: Sport and youth development

When: 23 November, 3pm IST
The Abhinav Bindra Foundation is back with a webinar on "Sports for Youth Development - Values, Skills, Livelihood, and Growth." This is the fourth episode in a series of educative webinars on ‘Olympism and its values’.
Positive youth development practices help young people develop skills and enables them to succeed in their personal and professional lives. Sport can be utilised to encourage youth to take positive risks, focus on self improvement and learn to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Sport provides children an opportunity to express themselves and has the potential to leave meaningful and lasting impressions on youth.
We believe that if we aim to maximise youth development, the organisation and structure of the sports context must be intentional and well-planned.
