Business Development Executive
Cardiff City FC Community Foundation is recruiting a Business Development Executive.
Position: Business Development Executive
Salary: £ 25,358 - 28,665
Responsible to: Head of Income Generation and External Affairs
Based at: Cardiff City House of Sport, Clos Parc Morgannwg, CF11 8AW
You will also be required to work remotely and at other locations as part of your role.
Job Purpose
To drive expressions of interest and generate income across our suite of offers – including corporate partnerships, schools partnerships, student recruitment, and develop opportunities for new business.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Generate expressions of interest and leads for our offers, and contact prospective partners to seek support
- Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets and growth areas for our offers, and assess the viability of new products and services
- To develop the generation of unrestricted revenue in line with our offer
- Develop, oversee and report on the sales pipeline across our offer
- Undertake sales forecasts and work towards achieving them
- Build positive relationships with existing partners, and seek opportunities for additional support
- Work strategically across the organisation to identify, design and implement innovative and creative offers in line with emerging demand.
- To identify external funding opportunities and liaise with other partners as appropriate.
- Collaborate internally with staff to build understanding and support with the generation of leads
- To deliver in line with KPI’s and the Finance & Income Generation Strategy and Action Plan
- Retain key records on the Community Foundation‘s CRM, in line with the GDPR.
General
- Work with the Heads of Department in the development and maintenance of effective relationships and communications with external stakeholders, funders and key partner organisations.
- To meet all deadlines agreed with line manager and key partners, specifically those that relate to reporting of key performance indicators and other targets where applicable.
- To undertake any relevant training as required by line manager or in line with expectations of the programme funder.
- To attend and participate in meetings with Community Foundation staff, funding providers and other meetings as appropriate.
- To exhibit and promote company values & behaviours.

- Carry out any additional work or duties as required that meet the needs of the organisation.
