FIFA seeks Human Rights Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ (USA, Miami)
Description
Reporting organisationally to the Head of Human Rights, the Human Rights Coordinator will be a key member of the FIFA26 Sustainability & Human Rights team, This role will be responsible for supporting the successful implementation of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Sustainability & Human Rights Strategy with a particular focus on the Social Pillar of the Strategy.
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Human Rights Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ will be to:
- Provide planning and administrative assistance to the Head of Human Rights and Senior Manager of Accessibility and Safeguarding.
- Carry out research and reporting support for the Head of Human Rights and Senior Manager of Accessibility and Safeguarding.
- Coordinate project management, including planning, tracking, and documentation around key human rights initiatives.
- Coordinate and manage meetings, workshops, and communications with FWC 2026 Host City Human Rights Focal Points.
- Provide administrative assistance to the FIFA26 Sustainability and Human Rights team.
Candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, with a focus on Human rights, Equality, Diversity and/or International Relations
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience working in human rights-related fields.
- Strong project management experience
- Strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Skilled written and verbal communicator
