The Scort Foundation is looking for a Junior Project Manager to support the team in Basel, Switzerland. A native German speaker is required. Deadline: 14 August 2022.

The Scort Foundation, founded in 2007, is a politically and religiously independent non-profit organisation based in Switzerland. The foundation's purpose is to promote and organise sport and play-based activities that foster education, development, and peacebuilding (sport for development).

Scort uses sport as a tool to enhance the social and health related situation of children and young adults. Besides education programmes in crisis and development areas and disability football projects with the Football Club Social Alliance (FCSA), the foundation puts a strong emphasis on its advocacy work.

To support the team in Basel, Switzerland we are looking for a Junior Project Manager. As Junior Project Manager you take over tasks related to project planning, financing and implementation. You will support in fundraising, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and project reporting. You will accompany the team to international projects that are implemented in cooperation with FCSA instructors and experts from local and international NGOs. Additionally, you will take over communication work for the foundation.

Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Interest in development work
  • Work experience in project management and communication
  • Outgoing personality, confident manners
  • Excellent MS-Office-Knowledge
  • Knowledge in Social Media, Adobe CC and writing skills desired
  • Excellent English skills
  • Native German Speaker
