About GRLS & EQUIS

Within our GRLS work, WW provides a diverse range of technical support through the Equity and Inclusion in Sport (EQUIS) work stream. EQUIS focuses on providing high quality technical services related to gender equity and inclusion across the sport and sport for development sectors. More specifically, EQUIS:

  • addresses equity and inclusion in sport at all levels of programmes and organisations;
  • creates communities of practice and facilitate exchanges with grassroots sports and women’s rights organisations;
  • offers leadership development and technical support to our partners and their champions;
  • provides tools, resources and capacity building to improve the quality of gender inclusive sport programming.

Opportunity description

WW is seeking a part time Programme Contractor to lead the management and delivery of a programme within the EQUIS work stream, and provide technical and programmatic support in the areas of gender equity and inclusion in and through sport for other key EQUIS programmes.

Together with members of the EQUIS team, the Contractor will be responsible for leading the implementation of the following programme:

  • Global Goal 5 Accelerator, a programme in partnership with Common Goal. This programme will work with sport for development organisations in 6 countries across Asia and the Pacific. The contractor, with support from WW staff, will be responsible for leading the implementation of the programme, co-designing and facilitating a gender inclusion learning journey for organisation staff members, and co-facilitating a gender inclusion and leadership development journey for young women coaches.
