Houston Shine's message to FIFA: Don't forget about us

Afghanistan's former women's youth team, evacuated to Albania in 2021 with FIFA's help after fleeing the Taliban, has been resettled as refugees in Houston and now play as Houston Shine FC, reuniting as a team in their new home.

They now call themselves Houston Shine FC. They are players from what was Afghanistan's women's youth team, originally evacuated to Albania in 2021 with help from FIFA after they fled the Taliban, before being relocated as refugees in Houston.
