Sports for Hope and Independence (SHI) is a social development programme that provides sport and recreational activities to communities in Bangladesh, offering a safe place to play and grow. Establishing values of accountability, responsibility, teaching goal setting and instilling the ability to dream and go out and achieve their goals. SHI uses internationally proven methods to use sports as a tool for child and youth development, girl’s empowerment and life skills development with persons with a disability.
