Sports for Social Impact podcast: Slopes of change
Snow Camps believes that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive, no matter their background. As a UK charity, they use the power of snowsports to support young people from underserved communities with life skills training, mental health support, qualifications, and mentorship.
They work nationwide to break down barriers, build confidence, and create brighter futures – all through the transformative experience of the snow.
Dan Charlish is the Founder and CEO of Snow Camp, the UK’s only national youth snowsports charity. Since 2003, he has led Snow Camp from a small London project to a national charity that has supported more than 23,000 young people to date. His vision is to give teenagers from inner-city communities the chance to learn skiing and snowboarding while building life skills and confidence, gaining qualifications, vocational experience, and new opportunities for their futures.
