Call for submissions: International Day of Sport for Development and Peace 2017

The fourth International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP) is almost upon us. First celebrated in 2014, the IDSDP enables the sport and development community to celebrate its achievements and highlight its work. Key to that process is encouraging wide participation.
Activities to mark the day can be big or small, ranging from organising an advocacy campaign or sports tournament to participating in Peace and Sport’s White Card campaign or writing an article to be published on sportanddev.org. However you plan to celebrate, we would love to hear from you.
In the coming weeks, we will be publishing updates from the community on what they are planning for IDSDP. The best way to share your plans is by emailing [email protected].
Feel free to write in either English or French. Please include a relevant landscape photograph and keep submissions to 400 words or less. Once you have posted it, a member of our editorial team will take a look before publishing it online.
