Edgework Consulting have shared the two documents with the Platform which act as valuable tools to guide interventions with children and youth who have experienced complex trauma.

The two documents are outlined below and access is provided for users to download them both:

Listening To What A Child's Behavior Can Tell Us
When working with vunerable children it is critical that we recognize that all behavior tells a story; a story of coping, survival, and a child’s best attempts at managing his or her stress. This resource attempts to explain behavior from a new perspective to help youth workers "see" behavior as a story, and in turn work out how best to support the child.

Integrating Trauma-Informed Practices Into Interventions for Youth
Utilize this "checklist" of design principles to assess your program's current effectiveness and create an action plan to strengthen your program's ability to make the most positive impact in the lives of the children and youth who you are working with.
