Some of the participants of the UNOSDP Youth Camp in Doha share their experience

The UNOSDP Youth Leadership camp in Doha concluded on the 19th of January. The Camp educated and empowered 29 young sports leaders from sub-Saharan Africa and the Palestinian Territory to become active teachers and role models to address social issues in their communities through sport. The pilot was deemed a success by organisers and participants, alike, and will be replicated in the future. Excited by the recent memories, some of the participants were eager to share their experience with the sportanddev platform.

"the work I have been doing has been recognized"
Samantha Lukonde, a Youth Leader spearheading the Youth Advocacy program at NOWSPAR in Zambia, mentioned that participating in the Camp was very special and a privilege for her. “It means that the work I have been doing has been recognized and has made an impact in the lives of others” she said.
