40 youth between the ages of 15 and 18 will be selected to participate in the 5th International Youth Online Martial Arts Camp. Apply today!

The International Centre of Martial Arts for Youth Development and Engagement, under the auspices of UNESCO (ICM), is calling for applications for the 5th International Youth Online Martial Arts Camp, to be held in July 2022.

Through this camp, we aim to cultivate martial arts values, support physical and psychological development, and help build social engagement capacity for youth all over the world. We look forward to your active participation!

The camp, titled ‘Becoming Healthy Global Citizens’ will run for 5 days.

  • First session: 20-21 July
  • Second session: 27-29 July

It will be held live on online platforms like Zoom, Gathertown, etc. All camp dates and time are based on Seoul, South Korea, and will be conducted in English.

Camp activities include orientation programs, team building, martial arts training (Taekkyeon, Brazilian jiu-jitsu), global citizenship education, anti-violence lecture, and group activities.

Criteria

We are looking for 40 youths from across the world to participate in the camp. To apply for the program, you must:

  • Be between the ages of 15 and 18
  • Able to communicate in English
  • Be passionate and responsible

Complete the application form and send it to [email protected]. Ensure that your email title is “Online Camp Participant [Your Name]” and that the application form is attached.

Applications open 16 May and end on 12 June 11.59pm KST. The notifications to final participants will be sent out between 15 and 17 June.
