About the Kaalomates Cup

The Kaalomates Cup is a multi-sport local grassroots tournament aimed at creating a platform for unity and cooperation within communities. It is organised by Kaalomate Community Development Agency, with support from MashRoom Arts & Entertainment and WEKOnnect Group.

The inaugural 2019 edition commenced in Nawanyago Sub county, Kamuli District, Uganda, predominantly with football; a 16 team competition running from April to December 2019. It aims to use sports as a driver for social and economic development, especially among youths. Subsequent editions shall expand to include other relevant themes and audiences such as girls/women.
