Liverpool FC named greenest club in Premier League
Liverpool FC scored 24 out of 27 point, showing its holistic commitment to environmental sustainability through every part of the organisation. It recognised the continuing improvements the club has made since the launch of The Red Way in 2021 – its ongoing commitment to creating a better future for its people, planet and communities.
The Sport Positive League is an independent environmental sustainability table that looks at all clubs across the top flight and measures their environmental credentials.
Liverpool FC is also the first Premier League club to achieve ISO 20121 certification, being sustainably certified and internationally recognised for its sustainability efforts.
For the record, the club is also a signatory to the United Nations Sports for Climate Action Framework on the Race to Zero.
