Remedy is excited to launch its inaugural Fundraising Readiness Sector Review - a first-of-its-kind exploration into fundraising readiness in Sport for Good - on the 14th September, 2026.

Take the free fundraising readiness self-assessment

Since April 2024, Remedy has provided a free online fundraising readiness self-assessment. It’s open to any organisation using sport for good, looking for real, usable fundraising insights.

More than 370 organisations have utilised it so far, creating - to our knowledge - the largest structured dataset on fundraising capability in the sector.

No matter the sport, the size of the organisation or the scope, fundraising readiness is absolutely essential and is measured across six areas: Governance, Impact, Storytelling, People, Approach, and Ask.

Our diagnostic tool has allowed us to see where:

  • The sector is strongest
  • Capability gaps are widest
  • Ambition and organisational readiness diverge
  • Key opportunities are being missed

The findings are honest. They give the sector a baseline it currently lacks: a shared picture of fundraising capability across hundreds of organisations doing this work. Did you know, for example, that organisations with experienced fundraisers scored around 18% higher for overall readiness? Or that over half of our participants didn’t have a monthly newsletter?

In the report, you’ll discover:

  • The impact, in numbers, of lived experience
  • The governance rules that pay off immediately
  • The importance of the elevator pitch - within your organisation
  • The simple storytelling and communication wins that make a real difference
  • The gaps in impact reporting sector-wide
  • How organisations are nailing ‘the Ask’

The Fundraising Readiness Sector Review is available on the Remedy website from the 11th of September, 2026. For more information, head to our website, contact our team at [email protected], or message us on LinkedIn.
