South Korea, Malaysia commemorate 40th anniversary of Look East Policy via sport
The event, held at the Juara Stadium in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, aimed to fortify ties between Malaysia and South Korea through sports and cultural exchange.
Those present at the event were Chung Suk Kyoon, Consul General of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Malaysia, Lee Won Kyu, chairman of the Korean Sports Council in Malaysia and Malaysia's Youth and Sports Minister, Hannah Yeoh.
"Our participation reaffirms the enduring diplomatic relations between our countries," said Chung.

The Look East Policy, initially launched to gain knowledge of best practices from East Asian countries like South Korea, has not only achieved its goals but has also evolved into a platform for celebrating the enduring friendship and collaboration between Malaysia and South Korea.
