Ashoka launched the Reimagining Youth Sport project to explore new incentive structures, ensuring youth sports benefit the common good.

We are currently experiencing a significant historical shift, moving away from a world of predictability towards one characterized by continuous evolution. Within this dynamic environment, the ability to adapt and contribute to change holds immense value. Nowhere is this more evident than in the realm of youth sports. However, the current youth sporting system often falls short of providing the necessary framework for young people to cultivate the skills needed to effectively navigate and contribute to change in a positive manner.

Your Contribution to the Project:

You are invited as a leader in the global youth sport landscape to contribute to this initiative. We invite you to share insights and experiences to help shape this architecture by responding to the following questionnaire. Please take approximately 20 minutes to complete this short survey* with your experiences and vision for youth sport. Key questions you can address include:

  • Based on your experience, what are the current working assumptions of the youth sport landscape?
  • In your opinion, what would be the ideal youth sports environment?
  • What methods or incentive structures do you think might help create the ideal youth sports environment?

The Ashoka Sport for Changemaking initiative will work together with sport changemakers in our community to identify and pilot reimagined youth sport initiatives over the next 12 months to identify priority areas for intervention.
