Tanzania to improve sports infrastructure in 56 schools

And this includes school-going children, as reported by Tanzania's Daily News.
The daily quoted Vice-President Philip Mpango saying: “The government invests in sports infrastructure and these grassroots games in schools to get talents that build solid national teams for the global level games.”
He added the country's President Samia Suluhu Hassan has vowed to support athletes and ensure that the sports industry prospers.
“Right now, we have completed improving the sports infrastructure in secondary schools: Tabora Boys and Girls and we are preparing to enhance six other schools by laying artificial turf in those schools.”
The project implementation is scheduled to be completed within 18 months.
“Completing this infrastructure will enable students to play in high-quality fields and facilitate the preparation of talented athletes,” Mpango was quoted as saying.
