The United Nations Office on Sport for Development and Peace (UNOSDP) is pleased to announce the results of the 2015 International Day of Sport for Development and Peace Video Contest.

In an effort to raise awareness and celebrate sport’s role in driving social change, UNOSDP called on all organisations and projects active in the sport for development field to share their stories on how they are using sport to make an impact in their communities.

Participants were required to submit a short video clip showcasing such efforts. Throughout the process, UNOSDP was responsible for running the contest, evaluating the submissions and making the final selection.

After an in-depth review of all entries, a total of 10 of the best videos were chosen which will now be featured on various UNOSDP media platforms and at selected events throughout the year. We congratulate the following organisations (represented in alphabetical order):

UNOSDP would like to extend its appreciation to all those who took part in the contest and we hope to see many more initiatives join together to celebrate the next International Day of Sport on 6 April!
