Community Support center / CSC-Asbl's Biography
Empowering displaced and vulnerable children & youth through sports, play, and psychosocial support for healing, dignity, and social cohesion.

Community Support Center (CSC-Asbl) is a grassroots organization based in South Kivu, Eastern DRC, dedicated to restoring hope and dignity for children and women affected by conflict, displacement, and trauma.

Our flagship program, Play4Peace and Mental Health Support (P4PM), uses football, local games, table tennis, rope skipping, and traditional play to create safe, inclusive spaces for displaced children and youth. P4PM is a trauma-informed, gender-inclusive approach designed to promote healing, emotional well-being, and social inclusion.

The P4PM model goes beyond the game. We facilitate psychosocial support, peace circles, gender awareness, and child safeguarding workshops, empowering youth to become community leaders, coaches, and advocates for change. We are also piloting Play4Peace Mobil, a youth-led mobile version of our program reaching underserved camps and rural areas.

At CSC-Asbl, we believe sport is more than play, it is a pathway to peace, unity, and resilience. Our vision is rooted in collective leadership, where every child, regardless of background, can play, grow, and thrive.

We welcome collaborators, donors, and volunteers to join us in transforming play into power and trauma into transformation.
