The FIBA Foundation is the social and legacy arm of FIBA that addresses the role of sports and particularly basketball in society, preserving and promoting basketball’s values and its cultural heritage.
Our main pillars are Basketball For Good and Basketball Heritage
Founded in 2008 to build the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball which hosts the FIBA world headquarters as well as an exhibition space to house the sport’s heritage, the Foundation started implementing Basketball For Good projects in 2016. Since then, we have given hope, joy and the chance of a better future to over 95,000 beneficiaries per year in 158 countries.
