GRSEI Refugee Sports Entertainment Initiative 's Biography
GRSEI empowers 150+ refugee youth in Burundi through football and arts, fostering trauma recovery and social cohesion in the Giharo Refugee Camp.
The Giharo Refugee Sports & Entertainment Initiative (GRSEI) is a refugee-led organization dedicated to using the power of sports and creative arts as tools for healing and social integration. Since 2024, we have been working on the front lines in Burundi to support over 150 refugee children and young adults (aged 5–30) residing in the Giharo Refugee Camp and surrounding areas in Bujumbura.
