The Hockey Foundation’s global mission is to empower under-served youth, promote social change, peace and prosperity, and support community development through hockey.
To achieve this goal, we:
1) provide access to hockey in remote/under-served regions, through equipment donations and coaching programs
2) coach in a way that is mindful of the ideals of the game, ephasizing on character development, empowerment of youth, women and/or minorities, and building integrity on and off the ice by reinforcing accountability, critical thinking, resilience and accountability
3) support the community beyond hockey, with a focus improving education, socio-economic conditions and/or infrastructural needs
