This book is a collection of methods, aids, ideas and experiences of how one can confront AIDS in and through sports.
The central issue is the strategy for adapting movement games and creating new ones for the purpose of helping participants learn to develop Kicking Aids Out (KAO) skills through a combination of sport and life skills.
The book gives basic knowledge about HIV/AIDS and covers the planning and conducting of KAO sessions, with examples of movement games and activities. It also covers the organisation of KAO events, as well as leadership in KAO activities and programmes.
