This wrap presents insights from eight journal articles related to Sport for Development and Peace (SDP) published in the first quarter of 2026. The research this quarter focuses on a variety of issues. Firstly, the unique attributes of sport are considered for their relationship with psychological health and social outcomes. Secondly, the challenges and tensions of researching SDP are explored. Thirdly, the effects of sport on peacebuilding are presented. This quarter includes two articles focused on organizational insights within SDP and three articles focused on youth development. Summaries and key insights from this research are presented below.
