UEFA's Carbon Reduction Plan cover
UEFA presents the carbon reduction plan, laying out the reduction measures undertaken across its internal organisation and UEFA events.

This carbon reduction plan, issued in June 2025, lays out the measurement, reduction and mitigation measures undertaken across its internal organisation and UEFA events.

The plan sits across four interconnected environmental policies, all of them part of the UEFA Football Sustainability Strategy 2030, to drive its reduction ambitions: climate and advocacy, circular economy, infrastructure sustainability and event sustainability.

All of UEFA’s measures are categorised in four specific areas, in line with carbon measurement and disclosure standards: Mobility, facilities, purchased goods & services, and logistics.

Furthermore, the plan describes the shift away from carbon offsetting to investing in: beyond value chain mitigation, sustainable aviation fuel and climate funds.
