The Youth Charter

From the raw talent of Moss Side to the leafy suburbs of urban, suburban and rural communities, the Youth Charter ‘22’ Tenniswise Report sets out the challenges and opportunities for tennis to help deliver the ‘Inspire a Generation’ legacy pledges of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The Youth Charter’s 23 years of work in the now established Sport for Development and Peace movement reflects a unique journey in the role sport can play as a social vehicle of change in the bidding, hosting and legacy of major games. We will be sharing our reports, campaigns, projects and programmes resulting from a four year look at the legacy of London 2012.

As we enter into another Olympic and Paralympic festival in Rio, where the world will be given a chance to come together in the spirit of social, cultural, economic and political togetherness, the Youth Charter will be presenting its work past, present and future over the next three months in order to establish an ongoing effort and contribution to the challenges that we face and the opportunities that can result from a greater collaboration of effort.

The Youth Charter ‘22’ Tenniswise Report provides a unique social and cultural review of the past, present and future tennis provisions for our young people and their communities, locally, nationally and internationally.
