I Joined TTASPE as a Sport for Development Officer to work with the Youth Friendly Healthy Spaces Project. I did my Undergraduate studies at University of the West Indies, St. Augustine in Literature and Psychology. Currently I am pursuing an International Masters in Sports for Development at the University of Trinidad & Tobago. Amara is the youngest member of the class and hopes to graduate in 2012. As a former volunteer at the Cyril Ross Home for children with HIV and AIDS and the Sixth Form Association, I identified the need for children and youth to express themselves through play, physical activity and sport. “Sport is the toy department of human life” Howard Cosell. As the Sport Development Officer for the YFHS Project I am able to marry my passion with my work profession.
