I have an honors degree in Sport Science from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. Straight after university I worked as a volunteer and Provincial co-ordinator for SCORE (1997-8). In 2002 I returned to SCORE a the Marketing Manager until 2004. Thereafter I started my own consulting business in Social and Environmental Development in which capacity I have continued to work in the field of Sport and Development.

Sport made me the person I am today. The opportunities I received and the self-confidence I gained from my achievements in sport laid the foundation for all subsequent accomplishments. I would like to help to provide similar opportunities to others in less fortunate circumstances.
