Before joining “FUDELA”, I didn´t see sports as an important and innovative tool for development as I do now. In the last two years, I have been able to be a witness and an actor of several development processes where sports, specially, soccer, have transformed many lives in a positive way. I have had the opportunity to organize some events, to write down stories and to reinforce relationships with partners that are related to sports, from journalists and businessmen to professional players.

Carolina Recalde's Biography
I am an Ecuadorian woman of 26 years old with a Bachelor degree in Organizational Communication and Public Relations. I love to be involved in the social area so I have been working in the non-governmental organization “Fundacion de las Americas-FUDELA” since 2 years ago as the Communication Coordinator. My native language is Spanish. Besides, I speak English, French and nowadays I am learning Italian. Furthermore, I love dancing, writing, singing, travelling, and doing community service. I love challenges because they bring me new beginnings and new discoveries. For me, it is very important to be in an organization that fits with my personal goals and where I have the opportunity to grow personal and professionally. My life is somehow like a chocolate, sometimes sweet, sometimes sour, but always memorable.
