Florian Kiuppis

Florian Kiuppis is UNESCO Chairholder "Transforming the Lives of People with Disabilities, their Families and Communities, Through Physical Education, Sport, Recreation and Fitness" at IT Tralee (Ireland) and Associate Professor at Lillehammer University College (Norway), Dept. of Education and Social Work. He holds a PhD (Education) from Humboldt-University, Berlin. Among other things, Florian is Head (co-leader) of the MA-programme Inclusive Education, responsible for teaching international students in Disability Studies and leading a research group called “Education -- Marginalisation and Minorities” (EDUMAMI), as part of the Ph.D programme “Research Centre for Child and Youth Competence Development”. Florian is currently working on a research project with the title: “Facilitating Inclusion in Training: New Educational and Social-psychological Strategies (FITNESS) in Sports for All".
