I run an NGO called the Rock Climbing Association for Development. RAD assists communities to exploit local climbing potential. RAD helps create long-term economic gains for communities as they are equipped to cater for tourism. RAD promotes a lasting and ecologically aware love of rock climbing leading to better health and sustainable community development.

Katy Anderson's Biography
Katy Anderson is an international development communications consultant and owner of Anderson Audiovisual (www.anderav.com). She has worked as a print journalist in UK, Europe and Russia; and as a broadcast journalist with BBC World Service in Switzerland.
Katy has seven years experience in communications for international organizations including The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, where she produced hundreds of success stories; and UNDP Zimbabwe where she worked on public affairs and advocacy.
Katy holds a Master of International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies as well as a Diploma in Human Rights Law and a Bachelor Degree in French and Communications from London Guildhall University. She is fluent in French and speaks Spanish, German, Italian, Russian and some Arabic.
Katy is a keen rock climber and co-founder of RAD.
